Grapes from the Vial vineyard fermented 20% intact and 80% crushed on the skin in an open wooden barrel before fining in a used oak barrel. As the name indicates, it is a wine undergoing spontaneous fermentation, not clarified or filtered, obtained from grapes not treated with sulphur dioxide.

When bottled the wine may present natural cloudiness. Very strong yellow color. Intense aromas of grape and concentrated tannin with hints of hazelnuts and tropical fruits. To the palate the wine has an elegant but noticeable tannin. Typical notes of fermentation on the skin, concentrated grape.

Producer: Niklas Designation: DOC Alto Adige Region: Trentino Alto Adige Variety: Kerner 100% Size: 750 ml Alcohol Content: 15,5% Philosophy of Production: Natural Food Pairings: Elaborate appetizers, spicy main dishes, seasoned cheeses Grapes from the Vial vineyard fermented 20% intact and 80% crushed on the skin in an open wooden barrel before fining in a […]

[1200

782,771

post-2697","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","pwb-brand-niklas-en","product_cat-alto-adige-doc-en","product_cat-white-wine","first","outofstock","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
