The grapes are left to dry in boxes until December/January until dehydration leads to high sugar concentration and distinctive aromas. The wine ages in barriques for 16/18 months and in bottle for 12 months. Garnet red in colour, with intense aromas of quinine and tobacco. To the palate it is rich in well balanced tannins. Great length.
